- I'm a reformed "neo-progressive", I was formerly a member of the conservative movement not less than 7 years ago. I was a leader in the Young America's Foundation, founded the Young Republicans at Morehouse College, accepted into "Reagan's 100" as one of the top young conservatives in the nation, worked on the Elizabeth Dole Senate campaign in 2002, interned at the Georgia State Senate in 2001, and the Bush Campaign in 2000. However, since then my understanding of American history has grown, along with my personal experiences in both Iraq and Afghanistan, have shaped my desire for America to live up to its initial promise of equality, justice, and liberty.
